Marketing gimmick or do you really need a free hack scan?

Here's something off the MarketWire, a relatively unknown company named FireHost is providing "qualified" web hosting providers a free hacker security scanning and report that details vulnerabilities of their online sites. Or you could just scan it yourself? The selling point of course is if you don't have enough staff or can't hire smart enough people to do it, you are essentially out of luck and would definitely need a contracted service.
